Joe started his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Queens County District Attorney’s Office, advancing to a felony trial bureau, where he prosecuted a variety of violent and non-violent crimes, and tried numerous cases to verdict.
Following his tenure at the DA’s office, Joe was a trial associate at a prominent personal injury law firm where he represented accident victims and victims of discrimination from intake through resolution in both state and federal courts. Joe tried numerous cases in Long Island and New York City, securing significant jury verdicts in challenging cases.
Joe’s exceptional representation of victims of negligence, discrimination, and sexual harassment earned him a spot in the National Trial Lawyers “Top 40 Under 40” and recognition as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers. Additionally, Joe is an active member of various professional organizations, including the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Nassau Suffolk Trial Lawyers, and the Assistant District Attorney Association of Queens County. Notably, Joe’s work on several cases has been featured in multiple news outlets, including NBC, the New York Post, and the Staten Island Advance.
After receiving his undergraduate degree with honors from Stony Brook University, Joe began his career in the real estate industry. He then attended St. John’s University School of Law at night, while helping to support his wife and young children. Joe graduated from St. John’s Law School with honors, earning the Dean’s Award for Excellence in multiple subject areas.
Joe is admitted to practice in New York, as well as the United States District Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Outside of work, Joe volunteers his time as a coach in youth football and baseball organizations, and mentors law students.
